Before starting the Linux installation, you need to create a custom configuration.

Please follow the steps described in "How to create a custom configuration section" for creating your configuration. 


Depending on your Linux distribution, please follow the steps below for installing the WireGuard client software.

Fedora

$ sudo dnf copr enable jdoss/wireguard
$ sudo dnf install wireguard-dkms wireguard-tools
$ sudo dnf copr enable timn/NetworkManager-wireguard
$ sudo dnf install NetworkManager-wireguard


OpenSUSE

$ sudo zypper addrepo -f obs://network:vpn:wireguard
$ sudo zypper refresh && sudo zypper in NetworkManager-wireguard plasma-nm5-wireguard wireguard-kmp-default


Arch

$ sudo pacman -S wireguard-tools
$ yay -S networkmanager-wireguard-git


After finishing the software installation, you can follow the steps below:


  1. Open your network settings and click on "+" button in VPN connections
  2. Click "Import from file..." button at the bottom of the list
  3. Select the configuration file you have downloaded following the guide
  4. Click the "Add" button on top right corner to finalise your configuration


You are now ready to use your VPN!
